In one paragraph
predict.bar sets no cookies, has no accounts and keeps no profiles of visitors. The site is static files served by Cloudflare. Two small things reach a server: an anonymous visit count and, when a page breaks in your browser, an error report with the page path and the error text. Neither carries your name, an account, or an identifier that follows you between visits.
Hosting and the processor
The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) from its global network. Cloudflare processes the IP address of every request to deliver the page and to protect the site against abuse, keeps short-lived request logs for that purpose, and acts as a processor for predict.bar under its data processing addendum. Requests from the European Economic Area are handled under Cloudflare’s standard contractual clauses.
Visit counts
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views from a script on each page. It sets no cookies, stores no IP address and builds no fingerprint; it records the page, the referrer, the browser family and the country, aggregated. predict.bar sees totals, never individual visits.
Error reports
When a script on a page fails, the browser sends the page path, the error message, the stack trace and the build version to an endpoint on this site so the fault can be fixed. The report carries no cookie, no account and no identifier. Reports are kept for thirty days and then deleted.
If you write to the contact address, the message and your address are kept for as long as the conversation needs and for up to twelve months after, then deleted. They are not added to any list.
Third-party venues
Market prices shown on the site are read from prediction-market venues by predict.bar’s own servers on a schedule. Your browser does not contact those venues when you read a page here. If you follow a link to a venue, its own privacy terms apply from that point.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and comparable laws you may ask what personal data predict.bar holds about you, have it corrected or deleted, and complain to a supervisory authority. Since the site keeps no personal data beyond email correspondence, a request usually means deleting that correspondence. Write to the contact address on the contact page.
